The Yson - Lotty E-Session

The day started with a sudden downpour, but that did not stop Yson and Lotty to do this shoot - their Engagement Session Shoot.

What made the day bright and cheerful, despite the gloomy weather, was the couple's warm and easygoing personalities. It was truly a fun experience working with them and the rest of the team for this PreNuptial Photo Shoot.

We toured around Davao City to find gorgeous locations; capturing the sunrise on the Seawall, the 20s-themed shoot at the Metro Card Club where the couple first met, and at the Crocodile Park for some kite flying (unfortunately the weather was too humid - no wind! lol. but that didn't ruin the fun). ;)

This e-session's team consists of Sole Infinite Photography, Allan Cuison, and yours truly.

Bridal Makeup for Ms. Maricel

As a makeup artist, one of the most important things I consider during weddings is building the Bride-Makeup Artist rapport. I need to communicate openly to the bride what she wants for her makeup and what I can do as her makeup artist.

This post is especially made for Miss Maricel who I now consider as one of my new found friends.

The pleasure was all mine when she chose me to be her makeup artist for her wedding day. We instantly connected during our first meeting.

SPLICED: Where Fashion and Film Collide (FIDA)

Fashion and film are inseparable.

Fashion shows, more often than not, are inspired from scenes of a movie or even the whole movie itself. Likewise, films use fashion to create a mood, define a character, or depict an era.

WE get fashion inspirations from the films we watch. :)

This blogpost is my way of thanking my friend - emerging Fashion Designer in Davao City, Don Maki.

His collection, Delirium, is inspired from the movie "Black Swan".

Bridal Makeup for Ms. Ma-an Legarta - Irasga

On August 17, 2013, Ms. Ma-An Legarta became Mrs. Ma-An Legarta-Irasga, officially! ;)

Makeup was done by yours truly, and hair was by Allan Cuison.

Coordination was by Queue Events, headed by Ms. Nonnah Villas- Nuñez.

The Debutante

A debutante or deb (from the French débutante, "female beginner") is a girl or young lady from an aristocratic or upper class family who has reached the age of maturity and, as a new adult, is introduced to society at a formal "debut" presentation. Originally, it meant the young woman was eligible to marry, and part of the purpose was to display her to eligible bachelors and their families with a view to marriage within a select upper class circle. Debutantes may be recommended by a distinguished committee or sponsored by an established member of elite society. (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debutante )

A debutante also means a young lady celebrating her eighteenth birthday, complete with cotillion, eighteen candles, eighteen treasures, and eighteen roses! :)
