Bridal Makeup for Miss Lyn C. Parcon

On April 23, 2014, Miss Lyn married Mr. Guy in a beautiful and solemn Christian wedding ceremony at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao City.

It was a privilege to be her makeup artist on her big day. Alan Cuison was her hairstylist.

My Essentials

Miss Lyn actually had three makeup trials with other makeup artists (two from Manila, and 1 from Davao) before she finally decided to have me as her MUA. She requested for a very classic bridal look, and so we gave her that.

Fresh bridal airbrush makeup and loose chignon completed Miss Lyn's bridal look.

Miss Ash Liyah: The Easter Bride

Easter Bouquet

An Easter Bouquet for you, my Dear,
To bring in the season of spring this year
Each bloom has been chosen in hopes to convey
My message of love and appreciation this day

With a red Carnation,
To show how my heart aches for you,
Posies of Forget-Me-Nots,
To show my love is true

And fragrant Freesias,
Embracing trust we share
With Lilies of the Valley,
Returning happiness and care

Daisies to show,
My love is loyal - undivided,
As the Phlox whispers softly,
'Our souls are united,'

And I've added Primrose,
To remind you again
That I can't live without you,
And with you I'll remain

And all about this Easter bouquet,
Are sprigs of Baby's Breath,
So delicately displayed
With a message of their own,
Which I've known from the start,
Of the innocence of your love,
And your pureness of heart

So, to you, my Dear,
I lovingly bestow
A message of love,
Even these blooms seem to know.

On Easter Sunday, Miss Ash got married to Mr. Ash Raffy in Islam. It was an intimate wedding held at The Domicilio Lorenzo in Juna Subdivsion, Matina, Davao City.

The place was filled with colors and with love. :)

Bridal Makeup for Ms. Maricel

As a makeup artist, one of the most important things I consider during weddings is building the Bride-Makeup Artist rapport. I need to communicate openly to the bride what she wants for her makeup and what I can do as her makeup artist.

This post is especially made for Miss Maricel who I now consider as one of my new found friends.
